Intended learning outcomes

Develop the critical skills and scientific writing of students and exercising them in research practices, oral and written presentation of scientific papers, in order to:

  1. promote a reflection on the structure of Master’s Final Work (MFW), literature review, research feasibility, sources to be used and work methodology;
  2. encourage the development of a comprehensive plan of MFW (including: the theme to be developed, the relevance and motivation of the topic choice, general and specific objetives, description of the structure and the relevant literature).

Upon completion of the course the student is expected to be able to write and present a MFW (and other scientific works) with an explicit research question, clear arguments, marked distinction between her/his own work and paraphrases of earlier works, and bibliographic references in good academic customs.
